Wooden Gate and Acklington Trains

Something a little different today, as I've recently bought a new camcorder and I'm trying to get some practice and bulk up my YouTube channel.

To begin with, on 15th August 2016 I spent an hour or so at Wooden Gate level crossing, just a few hundred yards to the south of my local Alnmouth Station. In the time I was there I managed to catch the Network Rail New Measurements Train (NMT), which had almost completed its run from Newcastle to Glasgow and back down to Heaton. Network Rail does only have one NMT, so seeing it is a bit of a rarity.

The following day, 16th August, I went down to Acklington Station and spent several hours (interspersed with lunch and refreshments at the nearby Railway Inn) filming the passage of traffic there.

I'm planning a visit across to Cumbria and the Lake District next week, so hopefully I'll be able to get a lot more photographs and video footage during my time there.
