Leeds Dock

Leeds Dock, formerly known as Clarence Dock, is a mixed development alongside the River Aire in central Leeds.

The Royal Armouries Museum, which I mentioned in my previous post, sits on the eastern side of the dock. Leeds Dock also represents the eastern terminus of the 127-mile long Leeds and Liverpool Canal, with various colourful canal boats moored along the dock walls.

Over the last decade or so the area has undergone considerable regeneration, with several social venues and pieces of public art. It's a pleasent airy place to be, so I thought I'd grab a few photographs while I was passing.
